Search Engine Registration Necessary?

I have a new website setup with necessary domain registration. But do I need to register Google or yahoo etc to make sure that the website can reach broad target audience? Or it is totally necessary? Thanks for any input!

yes you need to coral Google bot in your HTML coding and make registration on web master.If you do these thing than your web site will come if some one search about your web site.

What search engine registration are you talking about?
Your sites will be indexed, once se bots visit them. You could add sitemap if your site is really big and "deep".
You don't need any other registration at all.

Nice post.Search engine registration entails going to the registration area for each search engine and directory and manually submitting your URLs. If possible, avoid using any services that claim to register your site in all the search engines at once.keep up posting.thanks
