GoDaddy Domains - Any Good?

I think one of the major problems with godaddy is the clunky DNS management interface they offer.

Godaddy is ok.

The customer support is not that great. We have been assisting our customer who had his name and hosting with Godaddy, their customer support just COPY & Paste replies. Moreover they offered only 8 hours ticket support , I am unsure about their status now.

No live chat for International Domain Registrar ...

GoDaddy is the BEST Domain Registar but, transferring will give you a nightmare. It has problems. But, other than that. That's why I register my domain name with them and avoid transferring to them. Lol.

Majority of my domains are from GoDaddy. I love their mass domain editing feature.

I've heard lots of complaints from them, but personally I have none so far.

With domain name registrar that is not in option how good or bad domain names are. I assume that is more important to understand what kind of the service quality they will be able to offer

Yes. If you ask me, I answer best companies include Godaddy, 1and1 and Goldpuma.

I personally dislike 1and1 not only there support suck's but just everything about them. I like GoDaddy for domain's..

I have resisted all of my domains through godaddy and have never had a problem. I don't see a reason for me to use any other register at this point.

not much new to add herehere, just throwing in that godaddy is ok, control panel takes some getting used too but I've been using them for a couple a years and havent had any problems where I've run into problems with the smaller cheaper companies and even lost a domain due to incompetence of one.

they are find, I use them. The biggest reason I use godaddy over a cheaper solution is I've been burned by smaller companies that don't always run a very organized ship... or disappear over night. At least with godaddy I'm confident they will be around the next morning.

As mentioned above, they can be a pain if your trying to transfer domains so I wouldn't suggest them if you are into domain flipping.

For basic bread and butter stuff, they are find.
